Aiming at the need for a correct periodontal diagnosis and classification, the NovaPerio application is a conclusion work for the Univille Dentistry course prepared by students Bianca Mertens and Thiago Geronimo, under the guidance of professor Msc.
Mauricio Colin Barbosa Cordeiro.
It aims to help dental surgeons and dental students to classify plaque-induced gingivitis and periodontitis.
It can be installed on smartphones and tablets as an application related to the virtual world with a periodontal clinical environment and thus diagnose gum disease induced by plaque and periodontitis according to the current 2017 classification.
